In season info:

• THE WANTAGH FOOTBALL CLUB was ESTABLISHED in 2000 and is a member of the NCYFL. 
• All of our coaches are USA Football and Heads Up Certified. 
• The WFC Provides the Game Jerseys, Practice Jersey, Helmet & Shoulder pads. You provide Black Padded Pants and cleats. 
• Practices are held at Mandalay South Field on Tuesday, Thursday, optional Friday at 6-8 pm and/ or Saturday 10-12. 
• Home Games are played at the Wantagh High School on Sundays.
• Away games can be played on any field in Nassau County depending on the schedule released by the NCYFL.

 
WFC is competes in the Nassau County Youth Football League (NCYFL) along with many other towns within Nassau county.  Scores are posted weekly on their site. 

In person registration is typically a date in late March or early April.  The Football season kicks of on August 1st and runs into November.  One of the life lessons we want to preach is commitment therefore we ask players to show up for every practice and game.  We will also host pop-up clinics during the offseason to keep the boys in shape and focused on the game. 

At ages 5 and 6; the games are 8 v 8 with 10 offense + 10 defensive plays per half for each team. Players can only score once.  Ages 7 thru 11 are normal 11 v 11 with 4 quarters.  Playoffs begin at age 8 with the top four teams in each division facing each over a 2-week span.
