Wantagh Football Club was established in 2000 and is a youth travel tackle football club on the south shore of Long Island located in New York. We are not only a team, we are a tight knit community dedicated to the athletic & personal growth of our youth children. Our club is proudly affiliated with the town of Wantagh and are members of the NCYFL (Nassau County Youth Football League).
THE WARRIOR MISSION
Wantagh Football Club is a welcoming and inclusive community, open to all children who live in or attend Wantagh public or private schools. We provide a comprehensive full-contact football program tailored for kids aged 5 to 11, offering a safe, supportive, and competitive environment where players can learn the fundamentals, hone their skills, and, most importantly, enjoy the game.
Rooted in a "blue collar" tradition, our program is designed to develop hard-working, resilient young athletes who understand the true meaning of teamwork. At Wantagh Football Club, we believe youth sports serve as a powerful vehicle for teaching life lessons that extend beyond the gridiron. Our dedicated coaches and volunteers work diligently to help every player reach their highest potential—both on and off the field.
We encourage all kids to experience the game of tackle football, learning essential skills and techniques that will pave the way for success in middle school, high school, and beyond. Our program prioritizes teamwork, fosters a strong sense of community, promotes physical fitness, and cultivates camaraderie among players.
